Jonathan Wheddon - Director

Jonathan is sole Director of the company and started work with Harnwick Freight Services in 1985 as a trainee. After a brief spell with Emery he returned to Harnwick to take up the position of Import Manager in 1989. He became a share holding Director in 1996 and became sole owner of Harnwick Freight Services in 2004.

Jonathan’s interests include: classic cars and his two Basset Griffon Vendeen Hounds. Jonathan is also a keen supporter of various other rare breed dogs including Otter Hounds www.tecklegarth.org/.

Roger Hornsby - General Development & Operations Manager

Roger started working in this industry in 1980 for such names as Johnsons Freight Services and MAT Ltd and joined Harnwick in 2003. Roger’s main role is General Development and Operations. Roger is fully trained in the Movement of Dangerous Goods by Air completing this essential course 15 times in his career so far.

His interests are his family and chasing up sales reps who do not answer their phones after normal business hours.

Kevin Kirby - Airfreight Import Manager

Kevin has been with Harnwick since 1994 after working for various express carriers. He has extensive knowledge of International Trade Procedures, Customs Clearance and Brokerage. In his time at Harnwick Kevin has successfully completed a law degree.

Darren Nerney - Export Supervisor

Darren has worked in the industry since 1984. He is fully trained in Dangerous Goods Movements having taken the same course as Roger 13 times. He is married with twin daughters and his interests include air shows, reading, music and concerts.

Jo Williams - Accounting Guru

Jo started at Harnwick and took up the role of Company Secretary in 2000. Jo has extensive knowledge of the Sea Freight and Trailer Market for Exports. Jo is married to Carl and enjoys long walks in the country and listening to music.

Caroline Howarth - Airfreight Import and Office Trouble Shooter

Caroline has been with Harnwick since 2003 and enjoys keeping everyone in line. Her interests are good food and fine wine. She also enjoys music and crafts.
